The vast majority of Americans want their President to support traditional marriage. Fifty-eight percent of likely voters would be more likely to support a candidate that favors state marriage protection amendments—only 29 percent said they would be less likely to support such a candidate. <br /><br />To see the full results of the national survey see: <a href="http://downloads.frc.org/EF/EF08G19.pdf">http://downloads.frc.org/EF/EF08G19.pdf</a> <br /><br />This bodes well for the state of Arizona’s Marriage Amendment, as well as for the proposed amendments in California and Florida. It appears that citizens do understand the importance of maintaining the definition of traditional marriage.
